Connect Asana to Mari

Project plans explain themselves while the project is alive. Six months later, the Asana board that held the brief, the scope calls, and the "we decided not to" notes is something nobody opens. The work shipped. The reasoning got archived with the board.

Mari's Asana connector keeps that reasoning searchable.

What syncs

• One document per project: the project brief plus its task list, names and notes included, so a hit brings back the plan in context.
• Incremental sync. Task modification times reveal which projects changed, and a changed project refetches whole, so its document stays complete. Mari's pipeline (chunk, content-hash, embed) never re-embeds what didn't change.

Connecting takes a minute

Paste an Asana personal access token, optionally scope to one workspace by GID, and hit Test connection: a wrong token shows Asana's actual error, verbatim. Connect, and a scheduled sync flow keeps it fresh from then on.

What you get back

Ask "did we already scope this?" and the answer streams with numbered citations back to the project it came from. Asana plans rank alongside your repos, Slack threads, and wikis in one hybrid search.

Runs on your infrastructure

Mari is self-hosted and Apache 2.0. Postgres with pgvector is the whole data plane, models run locally through ollama, and every LLM feature has a deterministic fallback. Your project data never leaves your deployment.
